System error 2, component missing: head Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized staff within our Organization, and authorized website contractors, on a need to know basis only, use any information collected from individual bands, ticket purchasers, sponsors, and other users of the website. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service. Congress and various state legislatures have created specific offenses for unauthorized intrusions and actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such unauthorized actions—so called “hacking”—in coordination with the appropriate state and federal law enforcement agencies with a view to prosecuting and taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible. In no case of any such intrustion shall the Organization be deemed or held liable for the instrusion, including the loss or compromise of website user data or other information.

Log Files

We record Internet Protocol (IP) addresses in our webserver logs only to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our webservers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Organization on a technical, need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable browser information related to these data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

Cookies

Like most interactive websites, this website uses short, broswer-stored data elements called “cookies” to enable us to retrieve user details for some visits and usages. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of that area, and ease of use for those people visiting. Our use of cookies is currently limited to tracking participation in our online service offerings, and only within our own Internet domain.

Web Beacons

We currently do not use web beacons, and have no plans to do so at this time, in order to track users across multiple domains outside of our immediate control. Our web pages and our email newsletters, however, may contain images or video content hosted on this webserver or by third parties, such as YouTube and Vimeo, which may result in trackable data being recorded by us or third parties. We are in no way responsible or liable for any third party's usage of any such technical capablity. Please consult the Privacy Policies and other terms and conditions of YouTube (here) and Vimeo (here), if you have concerns about their data usage and activities.

Links to This Website

You may create a link to any page of this website whose URL ends in “html” or “php” without our prior consent or notification. If you do create a link to a page of this website you do so at your own risk, and the exclusions and limitations set out herein will apply to your use of this website by linking to it. If you do create a link to this website, it must be to one of our “html” or “php” webpages, and not directly to our included content such as images. We do review our webserver logs for these types of direct links, and if we find direct links to our hosted images or other included content, we will block access to all content requests and links from the offending domain and IP address. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or any activities of any websites that link to ours.

Confidentiality

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party, or provide your e-mail address for unsolicited contact by third parties. Any emails sent by this organization will only be in connection with our provision of JamFest services and products, and on behalf of our sponsors.

Your visitor and client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than if legally court ordered to do so by the appropriate authorities. Bands, Sponsors, and Ticket Purchasers have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all records we keep related to their participation, providing that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. The Organization may charge a reasonable and customary fee to cover the document printing or copying costs associated with such a request. Participants are requested to retain copies of any document issued in relation to the purchase of our products or provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Clients with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract.
